The Jubilee Hub is our welcoming community hub in the heart of Saffron Walden. Operated in partnership with Enterprise East and Saffron Walden Town Council, we deliver inclusive activities designed to bring the community together, reducing loneliness and isolation and providing opportunities for skills development and learning in a fun way.
We offer a diverse programme of workshops and groups across the week, and in addition on Monday and Wednesday our kitchen is open offering affordable lunches for all. Lunch service is from 12.15pm to 1.45pm and offers warm, nutritious food at affordable prices. No need to pre-book – just come along and choose what you would like from the menu, place your order and pay and your food will be freshly prepared and brought to your table by our wonderful volunteers.
Examples of activities on offer:
- Say Hi! Parents and Babies Session – 10am – 11.15am every Monday
- Meet Up Monday – tea coffee and chat from 11.30am to 1pm every week
- Employability Workshops – Tuesday 10.30am to 12.00pm
- Artist Hours – 1.30pm to 3pm every Tuesday
- Chat and Chill Youth Group – 3.30pm – 6pm Tuesday afternoons
- The FellaShip men’s social group – 2pm – 4pm every Wednesday
- Cafe St. Clare 10am to 12 noon every Thursday
- Warm Welcome – a free light lunch, tea, coffee, chat and games 12pm to 3pm every Thursday
- Life Skills – 10.30am – 12pm every Friday morning
- Second Chance Studio – free clothes upcycling workshop on the first Friday of the month starting at 10.30am
- Singing for the Soul – 1pm – 3.30pm on Fridays
